So frustrated that this car STILL is not in my driveway. It has been taunting me for a month and the wrecker was supposed to pull it out Friday and then it never did. You can't rely on anyone these days. I'm just so ready to get this 19ft mammoth on the road again (hopefully).
I do love the 1950s styling even if it is a little busy.

is it pretty wet around it still? I have had drivers refuse to pull something out if it is too marshy around the car. Love that color though. Still psyched you havent given up yet. Any luck on the brake issue? Does the motor spin?

I'll be patient!
Can't wait to see what you'll make of it.

Have you inspected the frame for damage? I am not sure if this is an unintentional camera trick but that rocker angle looks suspect to me. I can tell it's crunched but cars stored on grass/marsh areas tend to get a lot of damage from humidity.

You are correct in that the side skirt is bent to hell on the drivers side. I will have to jack it up to inspect any damage on it however. I am about 75% sure the rear sway bar is broken though.

Motor does not spin as far as I am aware. I decided it was stupid to try to fix the brakes in the dirt and wanted to wait until the wrecker got it to my house. It is a little wet but the driver said he would "check it out and give us a call." But that never happened so I am assuming he just didn't go look yet after he said he would Thursday. I am a fan of the two tone green and white.

yeah get it on solid ground. I would go pull the plugs and fill those holes with ATF now just for the heck of it. If it is stuck then you have a weeks worth of soaking done already and it should crack free easier. If not it will dissolve any crap on the cylinder wall. I bet with a good wash that thing looks awesome!

I really can't wait to wash it really looking forward to what is looks like without dirt on it. And yeah I do think it needs ATF pretty bad after 20 odd years of sitting.

in the engine spark plug holes. I just made a post sort of relative to what I was thinking in case it is stuck http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/what-is-oppos-…

Thank you 505! You just earned yourself a chance to drive the car around the block or so IF it ever starts.
